Bad Breath

When it comes to hygiene, the one body part that I am extremely particular about is my mouth. I am so particular that I actually keep a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, some dental floss and a bottle of mouthwash in my drawer at work! I know it might sound a tiny bit weird, but I guess I just really don’t like the aftertaste of food lingering in my mouth. Bad breath is a big no-no and I am not a huge fan of breath mints either.

If you can’t stand the sting of mouthwash, but want sweeter breath you can try chewing on herbs containing chlorophyll such as parsley, basil, dill, peppermint or cilantro. Spices such as cardamom and anise also contain potent antiseptic that kills bad-breath bacteria.

Yeah, I’m always paranoid about my breath. During the fasting month back when i was working in Malaysia, I would brush my teeth in the middle of the day — no matter that it would put the “validity” of the fast into question — precisely because I knew my (and everyone else’s!!) would be quite stale.

Lynne - I totally understand what you mean. During fasting month I don’t go near other people and I don’t let other people come near me either! Hehehe
